The use of helicopters by the royal family has come up in a recently published biography written by Robert Jobson. King Charles and Prince William flew in a helicopter in a controversy surrounding the safety of the royal family.
Writing in the Daily Mail about traveling the country by helicopter, “This year, the King had raised concerns with his son about the wisdom of William using his helicopter to fly his entire family around the country.”

The King even presented experienced pilot William with “a formal document acknowledging the risks involved and taking full responsibility for his actions” amid their dispute, the new book claims.
