Prince William started the week with football players and offered some advice. He was inspired by his younger son Prince Louis and advised England’s top football stars on the subject.
On Monday, June 10, Prince William met the England men’s soccer team. Talked with them about various issues and wished UEFA EURO 2024 luck.

William asked head coach Gareth Southgate after appearing at the Soccer Center, asking about updates on the game. He wants to know from the coach about where the England team will be during this game, and how it will go.
He took his children to school and asked them what they wanted to say to the England team. And he presented some of their words there.
They are very worried about the England team and even though they are small, they expressed various opinions to see the team win, including food.

“The best bit of advice I got was to eat twice the amount you normally would eat!” William told the squad. “So, I now have visions of you running around with massive great tummies. So maybe take my youngest’s advice with a pinch of salt — particularly around the physio team.”
He spoke several words about winning the match which inspired many of the team and gave a lot of motivation to bring victory.

Prince of Wales, 41, said, “It’s going to be difficult, it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be challenging and everything you’ve ever dreamed of wearing that England shirt.”

William said the “togetherness” of the team “has instilled in all of you over the years. You fight for each other, you play for each other and you really care about putting that [England] shirt on.”
William presented shirts to around 26 players who will participate and perform at the UEFA EURO 2024 Tournament.
