King Charles III, 75, has decided to pause his cancer treatment. Doctors approved this break due to significant reason.
According to Daily Mail, monarch plans to take an 11-day trip to Australia and Samoa at end of October.
During this royal tour Charles will visit Sydney and Canberra before flying to Samoa. There, he will participate in a meeting with Commonwealth heads of government.
Although he will interrupt treatment, Charles will continue to undergo medical examinations until his departure.
In February 2024, Charles underwent prostate surgery, during which he received a cancer diagnosis. Despite this serious condition both he and his wife, Camilla, remain active in their duties.
Even on tour, they will have several meetings scheduled, with only one day set aside for rest. A doctor will accompany them on this trip, standard practice for heads of state.

While Camilla has suggested he take it easy, royal experts believe that staying engaged in meetings and work provides Charles with energy. Maintaining his routine appears to help him cope psychologically.
