Singer Jennifer Lopez has officially filed documents to drop Ben Affleck’s last name, according to US Weekly. Along with her request to dissolve the marriage, Lopez has asked to revert to her previous name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
The documents also reveal that Lopez does not want either party to pay alimony. However, she plans to divide their assets and debts, including the Beverly Hills estate, which was purchased with a 30-year mortgage.

The “exact scale and nature” of their shared property will be determined during the divorce process. The reason cited for the divorce is irreconcilable differences.
