Boris Johnson recently revealed that Queen Elizabeth II had bone cancer before her death.
In his memoir Unleashed, the former British Prime Minister shared that Queen Elizabeth diagnosed with bone cancer about a year before she passed away. The Daily Mail published an excerpt from his memoir.
Johnson mentioned that just two days before her death, the Queen accepted his resignation and still displayed her sharp mind.
“I had known for over a year that she had bone cancer. She looked pale and more hunched. There were dark bruises on her hands and wrists likely from IVs or injections,” Johnson said.
Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, at age 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The royal family has never confirmed her diagnosis and her death certificate listed “old age” as the cause.
